✨ Bondgi ✨
Step into the mesmerizing audio-visual universe of Winnipeg’s Chris Harder. Known for pushing the boundaries of electronic music, Bondgi blends experimental video techniques with custom software and modular synthesis to create spontaneous improvised landscapes of sound and imagery. Harder’s architectural approach to music and visual composition will take you on an exhilarating journey through evolving sonic realms.
With nearly three decades in the Winnipeg underground music scene, Chris Harder has been a pivotal force in many bands, including the legendary shoegazer band "Projekor." His extensive history of performing across Canada, from Pop Montreal to a cross Canada tour with Eric’s Trip, guarantees an experience like no other.
🌕 A Moon Shape Noise 🌕
Métis/Settler multi-instrumentalist and sound artist Brendon Ehinger will also make a rare live appearance as his solo electroacoustic alter-ego, A Moon Shape Noise. AMSN primarily uses modular synthesis to manipulate acoustic instrumentation and unconventional sounds into ephemeral "patch-from-scratch" soundscapes.
Ehinger has performed in numerous independent bands in Winnipeg since 1990. He has recorded numerous albums and toured across North America with iconic punk bands such as The Vagiants, MikiMoto, and Bucko. Since moving to Brandon in 2016, he has developed a solo practice as a sound artist, performing electronics in art galleries and alternative spaces across Canada and Europe. He is also the founder and director of Prairie Wires.
