Indigenous Women's Program, Empowered Traditions provides a safe and welcoming space for Indigenous women, youth, two-spirit relatives and women and families affected by MMIWG2S, to connect, reconcile, and heal through cultural workshops. Empowered Tradition’s workshops are fundamental in nurturing cultural awareness, empowerment, belonging, and spirituality and with each workshop session, we ensure to include access to historical teachings, Indigenous medicines, Smudging, Feelings of belonging and light refreshments, all designed to support the well-being and growth of our Indigenous women, youth, two-spirit relatives and women and families affected by MMIWG2S.
